Featuring Nick Hall

Nick Hall is on earth to tell people about Jesus. He started a grassroots movement as a college student and has spent the last 20 years traveling the world to meet people where they are and tell them that they matter.

As a student at North Dakota State University, Nick’s life was changed when he wrote a paper titled “Pulse” for his English class, hoping to combat the depression, substance abuse, and suicide that was impacting his friends and their campus. That paper unleashed one of the largest student-led efforts in American history, launching a nonprofit that exists today.

Through Pulse Evangelism events, Nick has shared a message of hope with over 330 million people around the globe. Everywhere Nick goes, he talks to people about faith and the deeper issues of life, because he knows what it feels like to make mistakes, experience heartbreak, and be alone. One of the goals of Nick’s life is to come alongside students who desire to impact their high school or college campus, because that’s where this all began. Nick lives in Minneapolis with his wife Tiffany and 3 children.

Matthew West is a five-time GRAMMY® nominee, NSAI’s 2022 Songwriter-Artist of the Year, ASCAP’s 2023 Golden Note Award recipient, and a multiple ASCAP Christian Music Songwriter/Artist of the Year winner. He has received an American Music Award, a Billboard Music Award, K-LOVE Fan Awards, GMA Dove Awards, and has been named Billboard’s Hot Christian Songwriter of the Year. A recipient of the Rich Mullins Impact Award, West also received a Primetime Emmy® Award nomination for Original Music & Lyrics for the title track for the feature film “The Heart of Christmas.” Dubbed “one of Christian music’s most prolific singer-songwriters” (Billboard), West has been awarded RIAA Gold and Platinum certifications and notched 34 number one songs combined as an artist and songwriter.

In addition to his own recording career, he has co-hosted the K-LOVE Fan Awards seven times and has more than 250 songwriting credits to his name, including cuts by Anne Wilson, Rascal Flatts, Scotty McCreery, Michael W. Smith, Amy Grant, Mandisa, Danny Gokey, Casting Crowns and others. He has 15 studio albums under his belt, the latest released in 2023, a double album - MY STORY YOUR GLORY.

and Laurel Bunker 

Laurel Bunker serves as Vice President of Training & Education at Pulse Evangelism. For over 30 years, Laurel has been a leader in fields of nonprofit management, higher education, church and parachurch ministry, including key positions in national organizations like Young Life, the YMCA, the Jeremiah Program, the Pulse Evangelism Board of Directors, and the Council on Christian Colleges and Universities. She spent 14 years as a campus pastor and university administrator until 2021, when she left to pursue and launch her LLC, The Boncoeur Collaborative.
